Bulgaria's 11% Turkish population

There is a Scientific study, in fact the only one until now about Y haplogroups in Bulgaria:
"Y-chromosomal STR haplotypes in three major
population groups in Bulgaria"
Boriana Zaharovaa, Silvia Andonovaa, Anja Gilissen, Jean-Jacques Cassiman, Ronny Decorte, Ivo Kremensky
127 Bulgarians, 66 Bulgarian Turks and 91 Gypsies were tested.
The same results were downloaded here, and the large majority of articles, mentioning those populations in fact refer to this data.
http://www.yhrd.org/Search/Populations

As you see Bulgarians are more generous than the Turks, in their main study "Excavating Y-chromosome haplotype strata in Anatolia" it is specifically mentioned only people from Turkish origin were tested.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I kindly an explanation why there is no Turkish origin in Bulgaria considering that 11% of the current population of Bulgaria is Turkish.

On a second note, the same argument could be put forward for Turkey where 10%+ of the population is Kurdish, yet it is not included in the findings.

Many Thanks,
Mr. Curious
