A hellenic profile has been discovered but a genetic singularitz under spartans not yet. I cannot tell you, if they have other profiles or not.

Actually the Athenians were more times called barbarians than the Macedonians... According to Herodot, a historian who lived before Philip II and Alexander the Great it was the Macedonians whop hellenized the Athenians...

Recently the archeologists from Macedonia locate the ruins of the ancient city of Bylazora that was capital city of ancient Paionians. There are only little things known about Paionians. Maybe the genetic study can help us to determinate if they were closely related to Macedonians or they were different people.
