Description:
Central West Virginia is the study of the men and women of the pioneering families that endured the hardships to try and make a better life for there selves. This page is open to both Y DNA and mtDNA research. Hopefully with the mtDNA testing we can open the doors to the mother to mother line which in some cases can be hard to track due to changing surnames. The testing of Y-DNA will possible open a new relation to another male or possible another male located somewhere else in the world. As time goes on I will continue to update this page starting whith counties and then surnames that need to be and already have been tested. Counties that are of interst are Braxton, Nicholas, Greenbriar, Calhoun, Randolf, and Webster. Others to be added soon.
