The Chilvers Surname Project
Description:
There are many unresolved lines in the Chilver(s) family trees and this is was an attempt to see if we really do have a common ancestor. We also hope that this will help those Chilvers whose ancestors suffered transportation to sort out their family connections. At the present time seven male Chilvers have had Y-DNA tests and two distict haplotypes are represented. Five of I1a and two R1b1c. These come from very different origins. Which group do you belong to? Why not not take the test?
