The Clover Surname Project
Description:
There were about seven Clover families who resided in America prior to 1800. Several more came from Germany and England after that. The challange is to discover if any of these lines are connected. Those who do not know their line already can check the Clover Family Genealogy Site at: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~clover/databases.html We want not only to find connections between Clover lines in America but to discover if there are connections to other similar surnames. We may eventually be able to discover European origins for some of the lines. We hope that we will be able to use traditional research in coordination with genetic research to find out more about our ancesstors.
