The primary objective of this study is to identify the descendants of Cuthbert Fenwick who settled in St. Mary?s County, Maryland, about 1634. Cuthbert had 3 sons by his first wife (who was reputed to be a Cornwallis): Cuthbert, Ignatius and Thomas. He had an additional 3 sons by his second wife (Jane Eltonhead, widow of Robert Moryton): Robert, Richard, and John.
