Description:

Identify and connect the living descendants of the Immigrant Jacob Flournoy who arrived in Jamestown, Virginia on September 20, 1700. Jacob, his wife, 2 sons and 2 daughters, arrived on the ship. Peter and Anthony, Galley of London. The family prospered and spread from Prince Edward, Brunswick, and Chesterfield County, Virginia down into North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, and later to Texas. Several of the Flournoy males served in the Revolutionary War in Virginia, North Carolina and Georgia.
