The Jump-Jupp Surname Project

Description:

This group is dictated to advancing the knowledge of connections between the Jump and Jupp surname worldwide. James Jupp, b. 1625/30 in England is also referred to as James Jump. His son James Jupp b. abt 1655, Connecticut and grandson James Jupp b. abt 1685, Connecticut are also referred to as James Jump. A great-grandson James Jump b. Abt 1710, Connecticut is not generally referred to as James Jupp. I believe that there are Jupp decedents whose family change from Jupp to Jump and back again. There are certainly Jupp?s related to this line that never changed the name. The challenge is to connect the dots.
