Description:
The Merkle Surname Project is open to all who are interested in working together to find the common heritage of the Merkles who immigrated from the Wurtemberg area of Germany to the New World. Some originally settled in the New Jersey and western New York areas. All variations of the surname are welcome including Merkle, Merkel, Merckle, Merckel and other similar variations. If your variation is missing please contact an administrator who will be happy to add it. All relations, male or female, who are interested are welcome to join the project.
