This project is to prove a line to the foundling, Moses Pickwick Sr. (1694-1762). He married Ann Marshman 6 Apr 1719 at Batheaston, , Somerset, England. They had 10 Children; 6 males and 4 females. However only 5 males married and 3 females married. Two children died young. We are interested in contacting the descendants and possibly finding a matching surname of the father of Moses. "Moses Pickwick, was found at Pickwick and was baptised at Corsham, , Somerset, England on 29 Jan 1694. The entry in the register states 'so called because found at Pickwick'". by Commander Alan Craig; Mikwood Cottage, Pump Lane, Bathford, , Somerset, England. The Corsham Parish Register states: 1694 Pickwick so called because he found at Pickwick ..... a child left in the third parish baptised on January the 29th.
