The Sisco Surname Project
Description:
For men with the surname Sisco, Cisco, Siscoe, Francisco, Franciscus, Francis, or other variants; At present men tested have belonged to several different Y chromosome haplogroups, including R1b1b2a1b, G2c, I1a, E1b1b1, and N. This indicates that men with these surnames belong to several families with different European origins. Our goal is to find out which men are related and to try to discover the name and origin of the male ancestor in each family who was the first to come to North America.
