The Sonksen family most likely originated in Schleswig-Holstein but over the years have spread far and wide. The project aims to bring them back together again, if only in cyberspace. Are we all from the same clan? Where did our more recent ancestors come from? If your surname comes from the same root, please join the project and get your Y-DNA tested.
