Description:
The purpose of the Stanley Surname DNA Project is to provide information that aids genealogists researching the Stanley surname. By performing Y-DNA tests on males with the surname STANLEY and its various spellings, we will able to build a database with the many Stanley lines and to group them by their DNA signatures. As DNA signature groups are formed, we can compare the lineage of individuals with the lineage of others in the same group in the hope of finding links or a common ancestor between the various Stanley families. As more people are being tested and more Stanleys are identified, we will be able to establish a genealogy DNA identifier for the Stanley immigrant ancestor(s) or for a particular Stanley oldest known progenitor of the line.This could provide an excellent opportunity to gain further information on your family, and overcome longstanding road blocks.As a participant in this project you will qualify for reduced pricing.
