Welcome to the Stockton Surname DNA project. We hope you join us in this truly pioneering genealogical development. We hope to provide a companion tool for you to prove or disprove your own research, determine relationships, and establish family lines. Knowingly, we will solve some mysteries and create others. Of great interest to many Stockton researchers, will be the long awaited proof or disproof of an earlier common ancestor between the Stocktons of New Jersey, the Robert Stocktons of PA, and Davis Stockton of Virginia family lines. This project will also provide some clues to help with your own genealogy research, and as we go forward, expand to include the other variations of the Stockton surname such as Stoughton.
