The Yardley Surname Project
Description:
Any person of Yardley heritage is welcome to join this surname project. We are actively seeking male participants, however female Yardley's are welcome to join as well. The hope is that DNA will help bridge the gap left by paper trails in genealogy research. Working backwards, the paper trail for the United States Yardley's trails off in the 1700's, leaving a gap between there and older documented ancestral lines from the Yardley's of England. It would be great to be able to establish the connection that we believe we share.
