The life of Nakht-Ankh is also known through the documentation of his mummified remains. His mummy, one of the best preserved of the Middle Kingdom, was found in the necropolis of Qubbet el-Hawa near Aswan. This mummy has contributed to further research on health, life and death in ancient Egypt.

These mutations are transmitted from generation to generation and can therefore be used to trace an individual's genetic ancestry.

In summary, Nakht-Ankh is an important historical figure that sheds light on the Middle Kingdom era of Ancient Egypt.
